  27.    With a decent cable, no interference, the wind in the right direction, yes.
  28.    It's prolly better to keep it to 57600, it makes no difference do a 28800
  29.    modem really. Serial.device will do 57600 fine, if you want to go for
  30.    115200 you might want to try artser.device or I think there is a
  31.    USRserial.device somewhere.

  35.   No. Well, if there is I haven't heard about it. Also, buy new. The first
  36.   ones (like mine) have a dodgy chipset, sometimes it affects negotiation, and
  37.   for this reason I can't go over 26400 to BBS's or my ISP. And USR seem a bit
  38.   reluctant to do owt about it.
